(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis teenager is in custody for robbing two Westside CVS drugstores three times in seven days.
According to police, the 14-year-old boy would enter the stores wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and tan pants and hand a note to the pharmacist stating the store was being robbed and demanding narcotics. After his demands were met, the boy would flee on foot.
The robberies occurred March 11 and 17 at the CVS store on W. 38th St. and March 12 on N. High School Road.
The boy is preliminarily charged with three counts of robbery.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department investigators identified the boy using surveillance footage.
