(UNDATED) - The statewide voter registration deadline is quickly approaching.
Secretary of State Connie Lawson says the last day to register to vote for the upcoming municipal elections is April 6th.
Lawson says there are roughly 4.5 million registered voters in Indiana. However, she says too many Hoosiers are not registered and the time to do so is now.
Primary day for municipal elections is May 5th.
Hoosiers can register at their county clerk's office, inside any Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch or online at indianavoters.in.gov.
