(INDIANAPOLIS) - Three people who fraudulently redeemed a $2-million Hoosier Lottery ticket are facing numerous felony charges in Marion County.
Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry announced in a news conference Thursday that Ashlee Parsley, Jackie Parsley II and Joseph Parsley face 15 criminal counts including theft, forgery and money laundering.
Officials allege Ashley Parsley redeemed 8 tickets stolen from a liquor store where Jackie Parsley II was the manager.
Authorities are working to seize the home, as well as three new pickup trucks, two SUVs and a box trailer, all purchased, they say, with fraudulent lottery winnings. They're also in the process of freezing a bank account with more than $500,000 in it. All three defendants are currently being held in other counties.
