Death Of Vincennes Man Ruled Homicide

(VINCENNES) - The death of a Vincennes Man has been ruled a homicide.

Knox County Chief Deputy Coroner Joe Millspaugh says 55-year-old Christopher Melton died as the result of a gunshot wound to the head.

Vincennes Police were called to Melton's residence at 810 N. 6th Street Saturday morning and by Saturday afternoon the home became a crime scene.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
