(VANDERBURGH CO.) - Beau Hobson, the former coach and teacher at Castle High School charged with child seduction, has entered a plea of guilty in the case against him in Vanderburgh County.
Officials say Hobson pleaded guilty to Performance Harmful to A Minor, a Class D felony.
WFIE reports, Hobson agreed to six months in jail and to surrender his teaching license for life. As part of the plea deal, he will not have to register as a sex offender.
Hobson pleaded "not guilty" to similar charges in Warrick County. Officials say that case is still pending and the Vandeburgh County decision has no bearing on that case.
