(FISHERS) - Marsh Supermarkets says it’s closing four more stores across Indiana due to difficulty competing with national chains and small boutique grocers.
They have already closed 8 locations this year.
The Fishers-based company says locations in Indianapolis, Lafayette, Fishers and Mooresville will close in the next few weeks.
The company says employees at the stores slated for closure will have the opportunity to transfer to another location.
The company announced last January that it was closing seven stores in central Indiana and one in Ohio.
Marsh opened a new store last year in an $85 million apartment-retail complex in downtown Indianapolis.
