(MUNCIE) - Central Indiana prosecutors have charged a Muncie man with murder in the 2009 killing of a mother of four who was found stabbed in her home.
The Star Press reports 33-year-old Danny Lee Saintignon Jr., was charged Monday with murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and conspiracy to commit burglary resulting in bodily injury.
He's incarcerated at a northern Indiana prison, where he's serving a 23-year sentence after pleading guilty last year in another violent home invasion.
Delaware County prosecutors say Saintignon killed 35-year-old Monica Brown on December 24, 2009. Court documents say he told others that he killed the mother of four after entering her home to rob her of prescription medications.
A probable cause affidavit says DNA testing tied Saintignon to the crime scene.
