(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Police are warning Purdue University students to be safe after an Indiana University student’s body was found with her skull crushed.
West Lafayette Police Department Sgt. Jonathan Eager tells WLFI-TV that Purdue students should take safety precautions when they go out with friends. Eager says students should keep their cellphones charged but stay off them and pay attention to surroundings.
A Bloomington man has been charged with murder in the death of 22-year-old senior Hannah Wilson.
Her friends told police Wilson got into a taxi alone around 1 a.m. Friday. Her body was found later Friday in rural Brown County.
An autopsy showed she had been struck in the head about four times and that the back of her skull had been crushed.
