(UNDATED) - Nine volunteer youth ambassadors are documenting their visits to Indiana’s state parks through photos, videos and blogs at AmericasStateParks.org.
The ambassador program is a youth-led movement promoting the outdoors to other young adults. Ambassadors share their passion for the outdoors in hopes of inspiring others to experience what state parks offer.
The goal of Indiana's youth ambassadors is to visit all 32 Indiana state parks, and help tell each property's story.
"We have some talented writers and photographers posting wonderful pictures and blogs," said Jody Heaston, volunteer coordinator for the DNR Division of State Parks. "It's great to see these young adults enjoying the properties."
