(BLUFFTON) - New details have been released in the death of Bluffton’s 3-year-old Owen Collins.
In January the boy's mother and boyfriend told police they would give the boy and his brother drugs for "fun."
At some point, the boy suffered a head injury that killed him, and he suffered it at the hands of another person, according to the coroner's ruling.
30-year-old Zachary Barnes and 21-year-old Breanna Arnold are facing neglect, abuse of a corpse, obstruction of justice and altering the scene of death. 16-year-old Zach Barker is also charged in the case.
According to court records, the boy's body was wrapped in plastic and later removed from a trailer in Bluffton. The body was found in a wooded area in rural Wells County.
