(CRAWFORDSVILLE) - On Thursday morning a Crawfordsville man was arrested for possession of child pornography.
According to Indiana State Detective Stephen Buckley of the Criminal Investigations Division, he and members of the ISP Lafayette Field Investigations, Enforcement and ISP Cyber Crime Units executed the warrant at the home of 51-year-old Mark Rice, at 2601 West State Road 234.
Police found numerous images and videos of child pornography recovered from digital media located at the home.
Rice was arrested on three counts of possession of child pornography, all Level 6 Felonies and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
Assisting Detective Buckley were members of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office.
