(CLARKSVILLE) - Some personal information in the Clarksville town court system has been exposed in a data breach.
They believe the hack is contained to the town court's servers.
Guilfoyle said they believe the case files date from 2005 and earlier.
"(There is) some confusion as to the scope of the breach but as it stands right now, the only thing that we know that has been compromised are the town court records and not anything else associated with the town of Clarksville or Clark County," Guilfoyle said.
Anyone who has been party to a case in Clarksville town court should monitor their credit scores and personal information.
The FBI, Indiana Supreme Court and local law enforcement agencies have been notified and are investigating the hack.
Anyone who thinks his or her information has been compromised should call the judge's office at (812) 283-1505.
Guilfoyle said his office has received several calls with questions about the hack, but so far there are no victims.
