(EVANSVILLE) - The Evansville man who pleaded guilty to encouraging a baby to play with a gun on video has been sentenced.
According to the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor's Office, 19-year-old Michael Barnes was sentenced Wednesday morning to two and a half years at the Indiana Department of Corrections.
Barnes pleaded guilty earlier this month to neglect of a dependent and criminal recklessness.
We're told Barnes was arrested after he tried to sell a gun to under-cover officers back in January. When officers looked through his phone, they found that video.
Toni Wilson, the child's mother, was also arrested in the case.
