(GREENWOOD) - Greenwood Police are investigating after several mothers called 911 to say a strange man flashed their kids and waved a gun.
It happened Tuesday afternoon in the Trotters Pointe apartment complex.
Investigators say three young children were victimized.
On Tuesday afternoon, the children, ages seven through nine, say they noticed a man in his 20s or 30s, wearing a blue shirt, brown shorts, glasses and a cap on backwards.
The children say the man had a handgun, pointed it at the sky and at the ground. Then when he had the kids' attention, then he exposed his genitals to the kids.
Police are now checking the apartment's surveillance cameras, but it's not clear they were working at the time.
The children all told investigators the suspect drove off in a blue or silver four-door car. Family of the victims want him caught - a police-described predator, who apparently didn't fear parents just feet away.
Greenwood Police have added extra patrols in the area. They ask that you call them, if you have any information on the suspect in this case.
