(MUNCIE) - A Muncie man is accused of posting threatening comments toward police officers in the city on Facebook, including the police chief.
The Star Press reports the 30-year-old suspect was preliminarily charged with intimidation of a law enforcement officer and resisting law enforcement.
An affidavit says Muncie Police Chief Steve Stewart was included in the suspect's threats. According to the affidavit, the suspect wrote he wanted 30 seconds with Stewart with "no cameras."
Police say investigators went to arrest the suspect Tuesday, and that he resisted and fought with officers.
The suspect has pending charges of resisting law enforcement, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia that were filed against him in November.
