(UNDATED) - Outdoor Indiana magazine’s July-August issue debuts the magazine’s first major design change since 2008.
The cover shows a paddling scene on Sugar Creek. The photo matches a feature article on how Indiana's rivers and streams have influenced the state today and throughout its nearly 200-year history. The cover design features a new logo and bigger, bolder taglines, a look that continues through the 48 full-color pages.
The issue also includes a removable eight-page insert on Mounds State Park. That article continues the magazine's series in which one state park or state-managed lake will be portrayed through 2016, the 100th anniversary of Indiana state parks. To view a short video on the park, go to youtube.com/idnrvideos, select the State Parks playlist, and select Mounds.
Outdoor Indiana is available now at most Barnes & Noble stores in Indiana for $4. Subscriptions are $15 for one year (six issues, a 38 percent savings off cover) and $28 for two years (12 issues, a 42 percent savings off cover).
