(WARSAW) - Northern Indiana police say two teenage boys, one of whom was celebrating his 17th birthday, died in an apparent drowning in a private pond.
WSBT-TV reports that the bodies of Korbin Foster and Kaleb Lampkin, both 17, were pulled Saturday afternoon from the pond in Warsaw.
The Koscuisko County Police Department is investigating the Warsaw teens' deaths.
Deputies were told there had been a "sleepover" of teenage boys at Lampkin's home to celebrate his recent birthday.
Emergency responders were called to the home early Saturday morning after one boy at the party began acting "strangely irregular." That boy was hospitalized.
During that initial call, officers searched the neighborhood for Foster and Lampkin, who had gone missing. But officers were later told the boys had possibly gone into Warsaw.
