(GOSHEN) - An Indiana school district is dropping the only high school mascot it has ever had.
Goshen High School teams have been called the "Redskins" since 1927, but the school board voted Monday to change it, effective January 1st, 2016.
Some people in Goshen say they think the name is offensive.
The board says it will cost $15,000 to make the change.
It is not yet clear what Goshen's new mascot will be.
