(WARSAW) - A northern Indiana sheriff says a man has been arrested on a drug charge in connection with the accidental drowning deaths of two teenagers.
Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine says 28-year-old Jared Thomas Frantz of Syracuse has been charged with dealing a controlled substance.
Rovenstine says the investigation into the May 30 drowning deaths of Korbin Foster and Kaleb Lampkin, both 17, in a pond south of Warsaw uncovered information that led to the arrest of two juvenile males on drug charges last month and to the arrest of Frantz on Tuesday.
Court documents say Foster and Lampkin had consumed "a large amount" of LSD shortly before their deaths.
Frantz is being held in Kosciusko County Jail on a $15,250 bond. It's not clear whether he has an attorney.
