(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Marion County Health Department has confirmed the season’s first case of mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus.
The mosquitoes testing positive were taken from a trap in Washington Township. No human cases have been reported in the county this year.
West Nile usually produces no symptoms in humans. Those at greater risk may experience aches, pains or rash.
