(ZIONSVILLE) - Police arrived outside the home of Subway spokesman Jared Fogle this morning..
According to the Indianapolis Star, an evidence truck was parked in the driveway along with multiple police vehicles. Police have not said publicly why they went to Fogle's home.
Fogle could be seen leaving the truck in the driveway and walking around outside the home. Officials with the FBI, Indiana State Police and the U.S. Post Office were at the scene.
The Star reported an FBI spokeswoman said there was a criminal investigation ongoing but referred other questions to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Fogle, 37, became "the Subway Guy" after losing more than 200 pounds by eating Subway and walking. Since his weight loss, he has appeared regularly in the sandwich shop chain's national commercials.
In April, the executive director of the Jared Foundation was arrested on charges of child pornography. Russell Taylor, 43, faces seven counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession.
Following the arrest, Fogle issued a statement saying that his foundation had severed all ties with Taylor. The foundation's stated mission is to inspire kids to live happier, healthier lives and help eliminate childhood obesity.
