(INDIANAPOLIS) — All United Airline flights were grounded this morning the FAA reported.
According to the FAA, the airline company reported an "automation issue".
Airports across the country can expect to see flight delays as crews work to resolve the issue. It was not clear when the issue would be resolved.
According to CNN, United was not available for comment, but the airline's twitter account responded to customer complaints, saying, "We are working on getting you to your destination as quickly as possible."
The system-wide computer problem was forcing United to hand write tickets for passengers at multiple airports, CNN said.
