8-Year-Old Shoots Self In Hand

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An 8-year-old was injured Friday in an apparent accidental shooting on the north side of Indianapolis.

Police say the child suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the hand.

The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

It wasn't immediately clear how the child obtained the gun.
