(JASPER) - A Jasper man is accused of punching a woman in the face during a domestic disturbance early Sunday.
Police say 27-year-old Kyle Holtrust also poured a bottle of alcohol on the victim and attempted to set her on fire, stating he was going to kill her.
Officers tell us Holtrust was found walking down the street with no shirt and blood on his face and hands.
While being treated for cuts, police say Holtrust made threatening comments to EMS personnel.
He was transported to the Dubois County Security Center.
Holtrust is charged with Domestic Battery, Intimidation, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Law Enforcement, Criminal Recklessness, Aggravated Battery, and Intimidation of a Hospital Employee.
