(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man drove his car off the roof of one of the buildings in the Eli Lilly World Headquarters complex downtown Wednesday night.
Emergency crews had to cut him out of the vehicle after it landed upside down.
Police say the man was headed westbound on McCarty street when he drove through a closed gate and onto a grassy area.
What the driver didn't know was the grass was actually on the roof of another building and would drop off onto the ground below.
The driver was taken to Eskenazi Health and is expected to be ok.
