(FRANKLIN) - A 20-year-old Franklin man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 6-month-old girl who had suffered a skull fracture.
The Indianapolis Star reports Christopher Potts was arrested Saturday on a preliminary charge of battery causing death stemming from Thursday's death of Felicity Anderson in the central Indiana city.
Potts remained held Sunday at the Johnson County Jail on $30,000 bond and it was not immediately clear if he had an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
Johnson County coroner Craig Lutz says the infant was found Thursday in a Franklin apartment suffering from a skull fracture. She was later pronounced dead at a Franklin hospital.
Police said it wasn't known what Potts' relationship to the child was.
