(BARTHOLOMEW CO.) - A grandmother and toddler were rescued Saturday afternoon after being swept over Anderson Falls in eastern Bartholomew County.
Deputies responded to the county park at just before 4 p.m. Saturday on a report that a woman and toddler had fallen. 66-year-old Brenda Higgins of Westport suffered injuries to her head, right ankle and ribs. The toddler was also injured.
WKKG reports that Higgins was lifted out of the falls with a rescue basket and the toddler was carried out by his mother. Higgins and the boy were taken to Columbus Regional Hospital for treatment.
