(NORTH VERNON) - A North Vernon man was arrested on charges of domestic battery, resisting law enforcement, operating a vehicle under the influence, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia after he was accused of hitting a female while they were driving to Jennings County.
The Seymour Tribune reports 32-year-old Jayston Tudor is being held in the Jennings County Jail and is expected to be transferred to the Bartholomew County Jail.
The woman sought help when they stopped at Circle K, 3461 S. U.S. 31, telling deputies she had been traveling in a vehicle with Tudor about 2:14 a.m. Saturday when Tudor struck her several times.
Jennings County deputies then stopped Tudor on State Road 7 and took him to the Jennings County Jail
