Bald Eagle Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle

(PIKE CO.) - The Department of Natural Resources says a bald eagle was struck and injured by a vehicle in Pike County.

It happened on State Road 57 near the White River Bridge.

The bird, who suffered a left leg injury, has been taken to a wildlife rehabilitator in Knox County.The eagle was taken to a veterinarian Tuesday.
