Last updated on Wednesday, October 21, 2015

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The 80-year-old driver involved in a fatal, two-car crash October 6 on West Washington Street died Monday at Methodist Hospital.

80-year-old Jack Reed's vehicle broadsided an SUV, killing an Indianapolis school principal and two children. Three other children were injured.

It is believed Reed suffered a stroke, causing him to run a red light.

49-year-old Norris Ncube was killed in the crash along with his 5-year-old niece, Malia and his 12-year-old son, Joshua.

Norris, a school principal at Indianapolis Junior Academy, was driving five children to school. His daughter Jessie was critically injured and her cousin Deon Siziba and friend Anita Nkoma also sustained significant injuries in the crash.

The funeral for Norris and the children was Sunday.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the Ncube family with expenses.
