(FORT WAYNE) - A 31 year old woman from New Haven was arrested on an arrest warrant for theft following a three month long investigation by the Indiana State Police Criminal Investigation Division at the Fort Wayne post.
According to Detective Clint Hetrick, a complaint was lodged this past July by the Interdisciplinary Diagnostic Evaluation Center, formerly based in Fort Wayne, alleging that their secretary Heather R. Johnson had used a company credit card for personal expenses totaling $100,000.00. Hetrick's investigation revealed that Johnson had also given herself a raise and had written herself checks from the company totaling an additional $40,000.00.
Upon its completion, Hetrick's investigation was turned over to the Allen County Prosecutor's Office which resulted in the arrest warrant being issued. Johnson was arrested this morning without incident on one count of theft, a level 5 felony and was incarcerated in the Allen County Jail.
