(UNDATED) - The US Attorney’s office has announced indictments for six men and one woman involved in a meth distribution ring that covered Indiana and Illinois.
All are from Knox and Lawrence Counties, accept for one who Police say is the leader of the ring, Julius Weldon of Indianapolis, received meth in shipments from Arizona and then distribute the drug to three other men that then distributed the drug further in our area.
Weldon is still at large.
The other six stood in federal court Friday for their initial hearing. All of those involved in the ring could get up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.
The other's formally indicted on Monday were; 27-year-old Shovokus L. Swing and 35 year old Donta Henderson of Vincennes, 32-year-old Jason Davis of Bruceville, 36-year-old Justin Swain, 46-year-old James T. Western and 34-year-old Tammy Gillespie of Lawrenceville, Illinois.
