(FRANKLIN) - Two men were arrested after allegedly vandalizing multiple locations in Franklin.
Franklin Police Department said they received "numerous reports" criminal mischief done to businesses and homes, including: Franklin Middle School, Northwood Elementary, the Franklin Parks and Recreation Center and a bathroom in Province Park.
Authorities say the damage included broken windows, broken flower pots, busted trashcans and vehicles that had their tires cut.
Franklin Police say that witness information, along with video Criminal Mischief_8evidence, led to the arrests of Roy Burkett and Brian Shaw. Authorities say that video evidence was obtained from the Franklin Parks and Recreation Department and the Franklin Middle School.
Burkett and Shaw were booked in the Johnson County Jail on Felony Criminal Mischief charges. Franklin Police say they are reviewing more video and add that additional charges may be forthcoming. The department is asking for anyone in that area who may have damage to their property and chose not to report it to contact Detective Ray Tice at (317) 346-1143.
