Black Friday 2015 Store Hours

(UNDATED) - While some major retail outlets are continuing the trend of opening earlier and earlier on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, others like REI are pulling back and shortening holiday hours or eliminating them altogether.

Below is a list of some of the biggest name stores in the area and their planned hours this year.

REMEMBER: Some hours will vary based on location:

Best Buy: 5 p.m. - 1 a.m. Thanksgiving; 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. Black Friday
Dick's Sporting Goods: 6 p.m. - 2 a.m. Thanksgiving; 5 a.m. - 10 p.m. Black Friday
GameStop: closed Thanksgiving; opens at 5 a.m. Black Friday
HHGregg: 4 p.m. - midnight Thanksgiving; 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. Black Friday
JCPenney: opens at 3 p.m. Thanksgiving
Meijer: New deals start at 6 a.m. Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Saturday
Old Navy: opens at 4 p.m. Thanksgiving and stays open through 11:59 p.m. Black Friday
REI: closed Thanksgiving and Black Friday
Target: opens at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving
Toys "R" Us: opens at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving and stays open through 11:00 p.m. Black Friday
Walmart: opens at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving
