(COLUMBUS) - Authorities are searching for an escaped prisoner in downtown Columbus this morning
According to the Bartholomew County Emergency Operations Center an inmate wearing a grey hoodie, red shirt and blue shorts and handcuffs escaped from the Edinburgh police in the area of 8th and Central Avenue in Columbus. Officials say he escaped while being transported from Columbus Regional Hospital to the Johnson County Jail.
He is five feet five inches tall and about 160 pounds with tattoos on his temple, neck and shoulder. If you see the inmate, identified as 26-year-old Dustin Evans, you should call 911.
