(INDIANAPOLIS) - A father fatally shot his son on the city’s west side Saturday morning.
The shooting occurred in the 4900 block of West Raymond Street around 10:45 a.m.
According to police, 46-year-old Fred Fleener III got into an argument with his son 22-year-old Fred Fleener IV inside their home. During the argument, Fleener III shot his son in the chest.
The victim was transported to Eskenazi Hospital , and he died while undergoing surgery.
The father was transported to the IMPDs Homicide Branch for questioning, and he was later arrested for involuntary manslaughter.
