(INDIANAPOLIS) - Governor Pence announced Tuesday that the state will invest an estimated $50 million to reconfigure the interchange that’s used by more than 165,000 drivers daily.
The improvements are meant to ease congestion, improve safety and reduce travel time:
A formal request for proposals to design the project will be published this week.
INDOT expects preliminary design to begin in 2016 and construction to start in 2020.
