WVUB reports, the Knox County Solid Waste District Board met in executive session Tuesday to suspend Director Tracy Clinkenbeard without pay.
Knox County Commission Attorney Dale Webster says the Indiana State Police and the State Board of Accounts are investigating the Knox County Solid Waste Office.
Webster told Solid Waste Board members they are not to comment on the investigation.

Webster says he was made aware of the ongoing investigation last week, when State Police were in town looking into the matter.
