(INDIANAPOLIS) - The chief of the Brownsburg Fire Department has been arrested on a drunk driving charge after a Sunday night crash in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, William Brown was booked on charges of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content above .08 and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Police responded to the single-vehicle crash just before 9 p.m. at Massachusetts Avenue and North College Avenue, according to an IMPD incident report.
Police said Brown crashed his city-owned SUV. He was taken to the Arrestee Processing Center.
