(INDIANAPOLIS) - Metro police rushed to a call to “assist an officer,” and ended up arresting the caller for impersonating a police officer.
The call came in around 5:45 pm Saturday, to the Oaks of Eagle Creek Apartments on the city's northwest side.
The male caller said he was an police officer needing assistance in the 5300 block of Holly Springs Drive East.
When police arrived on the scene they determined the man was not an officer and placed him under arrest.
45-year-old Xavier T. Heckstall of Noblesville was arrested on a charge of Fraud-impersonation and criminal trespass.
Heckstall was taken to the Arrestee Processing Center.
