(HAMILTON CO.) - A woman stole a police car while in handcuffs, then led officers on a chase.
It started around 11 p.m. Friday in Hamilton County when officers say a Dodge van was reported stolen. Police caught up with the van. Three people were removed.
One of the passengers, identified as Tori Hostetler, was handcuffed and placed in the backseat of a patrol car. She was able to take the patrol car and drive off.
Officers chased Hostetler through Madison County and into Henry County where she crashed.
After wrecking the patrol car, she fled on foot. She was taken into custody in Henry County later that morning.
