(POSEY CO.) - Arrests could be coming in two Posey County animal neglect investigations.
Officials say they took four dogs and three cats from a house because most of the animals were starving.
One cat is pregnant, and a dog has heartworm.
They also found two dogs dead on the property in a sink and in a car.
The animals are now recovering at the Posey Humane Society. They've put on weight and are doing better.
In another case, an extremely malnourished dog was pulled from a home.
That dog is with PC Pound Puppies.
Charges are expected to be filed in both cases in the coming days.
The animals will eventually hopefully be put up for adoption.
