(SANTA CLAUS) - Holiday World has dished out nearly $2.5-million into renovations.
From painting and prepping, to revamping roller coasters, it's been a very busy off season for employees.
One of the park's first rides is set to reappear this summer. The Freedom Train was around when the park was originally called Santa Claus Land.
Holiday World is also getting ready to hire more than 2,200 people for their 70th season. They will open on April 23. Splashin' Safari opens May 12.
Ticket prices will not increase this year.
As part of their 70th birthday celebrations, Holiday World is offering special deals. Visit www.holidayworld.com to learn more.
