(SULLIVAN CO.) - Indiana Conservation Officers are searching for a boater missing since Sunday afternoon on Turtle Creek Reservoir south of Terre Haute.
Shallow water and underwater stumps are hampering Monday's search efforts, according to DNR spokesman Max Winchell.
Three others were rescued and in stable condition after their boat capsized, according to a report published on Indiana DNR District 5's Facebook page.
Conservation officers responded to the report of a capsized boat around 2:30 pm Sunday.
According to DNR's Facebook account, two Terre Haute men saved the lives of two men and juvenile when the boat flipped.
High winds prevented a boat based search with sonar on Sunday, but Conservation Officers and Sullivan County Sheriff's Deputies searched from the shore, and returned Monday to continue their search.
Winchell said a sonar boat was unable to search on Sunday, but went on the reservoir Monday.
The two rescued men and juvenile were suffering from severe hypothermia. One of the men was later flown to Indianapolis.
