Firefighter Charged With Obstruction of Justice

(HAMILTON CO.) - A firefighter was arrested for obstruction of justice.

That's the situation in Hamilton County, where Sheridan Fire Department Captain Travis Stern is accused of taking evidence from the scene of a crash.

Police say Stern was the first on the scene of a car crash in January.

Stern, who is related to the man who was driving, allegedly took evidence of drugs from the crash scene.

An informant tipped off investigators, and now Stern is facing two felony charges of obstruction of justice.
