(PUTNAM COUNTY) - Officials report the flu outbreak inside the Putnamville Correctional Facility seems to be under control.
The Indiana Department of Corrections says that no offenders with flu-like symptoms have been sent to Terre Haute Regional Hospital since Wednesday.
However, one new inmate has turned up sick in the last 24-hours. He is being treated at the prison along with six other inmates.
Last week, the prison reported H1N1 is to blame for the outbreak, which has killed one inmate and sickened around 40.
