(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus woman was arrested after she allegedly threatened her ex-husband with a knife during an argument Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., Officer Chris Strickland responded to the 2400 block of East Lincoln Village Drive after a report of a domestic fight.
The alleged victim told police that his ex-wife, 59-year-old Jeanette Lockridge, began arguing with him while they were in the kitchen of the home and that is when she allegedly grabbed a knife from a kitchen drawer and began threatening and walking toward the man.
Police say the man was able to get out of the residence and was not injured.
Lockridge was arrested on a preliminary felony charge of intimidation with a deadly weapon.
