(BRAZIL) - The Indiana State Fire Marshal is currently investigating an early morning fire in Brazil.
It happened on Saturday morning at 201 N. Sherman Street.
Heavy smoke and fire quickly filled the building, leading Brazil City Fire Chief Jake Bennett, to call in the Terre Haute Fire Department to help battle the blaze.
Bennett says no utilities were on at the time of the fire.
The building was not in operation. At times, a construction company would use it for storage and offices. A local church would also hold sales in the building.
No injuries were reported.
Bennett says it appears someone broke-in and set the building on fire.
However, this case is still under investigation.
