(NORTH VERNON) - A North Vernon woman was arrested on multiple charges after police said she was detained for shoplifting at a local store.
The Seymour Tribune reports, 27-year-old Katrina Roush, was arrested at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday on charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a syringe, resisting law enforcement and theft, North Vernon police said.
North Vernon officers were sent to Walmart about a shoplifter, police said. During the investigation, the shoplifter -- identified as Roush -- resisted arrest, police said. As she was being transported to the Jennings County Jail, officers found several drug-related items on her, police said.
