(VIGO CO.) - The Vigo County Drug Court will close by the end of the year.
Drug Courts have offered an alternative to incarceration and provides intensive treatment under court supervision.
This has allowed participants a second chance to get clean and turn their lives around.
Officials say the Vigo County Council didn't have any funds for the program in 2015 and that's why they are making the decision to close.
It's scheduled to take place in December of this year.
